FMP has an opening for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will report to the Regional Operation Manager and work closely with the project team and clients throughout the lifecycle of the project.

This position will require a high degree of customer relationship management and strong analytical and organizational skills to assist our clients in implementing, integrating and maximizing their workplace management database systems. Candidate will be self- directed and provide strategic direction for the database systems that support the space planning process. Candidate must work well collaboratively across functions and have proven ability to drive change. The ideal person will be very comfortable providing direct project leadership for key Information Technology projects, partnering with project to deliver projects on time and on budget.

• Oversee space planning, including adds, moves, changes and acquisitions; provide long-range planning and forecasting.
• Responsible for understanding, planning and space allocation for short and long term space requirements, reorganization updates, move plans, including unplanned growth.
• Work with the Real Estate function to provide supply and demand forecasts for occupancy reports for all sites; conduct studies to evaluate space utilization in existing space and develop options to maximize efficiency.
• Develop and manage master space plans for all sites, including office move activities; track changes related to project proposals and space assignment requests for unplanned growth or reorganizations.
• Evaluate business unit requests to ensure that space changes are in alignment with long-term plans and utilization guidelines; consult on long-range plans for optimum adjacencies and space plans.
• Monitor and track headcount and seating changes; Gathers and provides space occupancy data.
• Establish and maintain highly collaborative and productive relationships with customers, internal partners and stakeholders.
• Integrate technology into the space planning process to develop scenarios and reports; evaluate, select and implement a CAFM systems program.
• Manage the lease administration vendor to document critical dates and option clauses, rent schedules and straight-line schedules; organize soft and hard copies of all lease and legal documents.

• Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain information system capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for information systems administration and appropriate use.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field required
• 7+ years of progressive advancement in facilities space planning and facility operations. Familiarity with Facility Management Data Bases is desirable (Archibus).
• Ability to comfortably interface with all levels of management and to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Problem solving and decision making skills; ability to manage conflicting requirements
• CAFM and AutoCAD experience are desired
• Candidates should also have a strong understanding of SQL knowledge, relational databases, possess data processing skills
• Strong writing skills and experience in formal document preparation.
• The candidate should be proficient in MS SQL Store Procedures, DTS Packages, and Functions
